I think I speak for everyone when I say, thank you Disney+ for bringing Hamilton back into our lives and with the original cast no less. I think it’s just what we all needed right about now.
Are you, like me, just a little too obsessed with Hamilton? Here’s what I mean by that. My social life ended completely for the six months following my trip to New York to see Hamilton on Broadway. Why? All I did on Friday and Saturday nights for those months was drive my car to the top of Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles and belt out the entire soundtrack. And when I say the entire soundtrack, it was more like the first CD because I lost the second one and didn’t yet have Spotify Premium. I’m not mad about it though because the final song of the show is so poignant that I refuse to listen to it on a regular basis so I won’t ever get sick of it.
It’s been a few years since those night drives; however, with the release of Hamilton on Disney+ and a quarantine situation, I think I have a pretty good idea of what my weekend nights are going to be looking like for the foreseeable future. And that is why I think it is also time to elevate my game with some Hamilton merch. So, I scoured the internet looking for the best Hamilton merchandise available for purchase. I’ve dreamed about owning a book bag ever since I’ve seen the Olympia Le-Tan ones. And while I don’t quite have $2500 to spend on one of her pieces, there are some beautiful Hamilton book handbags created by Etsy designers. I’m the first person to complain about the outrageous costs of birthday cards. I mean 7.99 for a piece of paper to sign your name is insane. But, there is a reason we willingly spend that much money. The written words in that card might be so meaningful that we keep the card forever. I know I do. So, if you plan on writing something nice, then spending $10 on the most GORGEOUS and FUN birthday card you’ll ever see seems entirely justified. You will really make someone’s day with this one.
And, then there is the King George birthday card with who else but Jonathan Groff aka the King of England front row and center in all his glory. Who wouldn’t get a good laugh outta this one?!
Hamilton Sketch Book/ Hamilton Coloring Book
You’ve got a couple of options here. I love the Hamilton Sketch Book and/or Notebook because it is just so Hamilton. He’s the guy who wrote 51 of the 85 essays in the Federalist papers. So, it’s very fitting to purchase something where you can put pen to paper just like Hamilton did so eloquently.
But wait! There’s more! Recently, I’ve also been a huge fan of coloring books. As an adult, I never would have imagined that I would enjoy coloring, but it is such a huge stress reliever. I find that my brain focuses on the coloring and not on the other 75 things that are on my mind.

Dying. Dead. Deceased. Have you ever seen anything cuter? I think not. I mean you could get this for a Halloween costume, but the amount of detail and craftsmanship that went into this beautiful crochet piece of art is just too good for a one-time wear. I’m pretty sure you will make this a staple for the season and then cry hysterically when your baby outgrows this masterpiece.
Everyone seems to want a Hamilton hoodie which is a good thing because there are a ton to choose from. While the majority of Hamilton hoodies from Amazon have the signature logo on the front, there are a few that have some fun sayings as well such as “My Thoughts Have Been Replaced by Hamilton Lyrics” and “It’s a Hamilton Thing, You Wouldn’t Understand.” Etsy, however, has a MUCH better selection of Hamilton hoodie options, so I would recommend purchasing from an Etsy seller if you are looking for something different than the signature logo.
Most states have mandated wearing masks in public (finally!), so why not accessorize with a Hamilton mask? There really isn’t a more perfect phrase than “Talk Less, Smile More” to have plastered across your face while you are practicing social distancing.

If you are looking for a unique, vintage-style piece of art to put on your wall, check out these inspirational Hamilton quote prints. They are very reasonably priced, so you could buy several prints with various Hamilton quotes and create a gallery wall in your space. The Etsy shop owner sells prints of inspirational quotes from multiple musicals, so if a wall full of Hamilton quotes feels a bit much, you could showcase your love for all musicals with a Broadway gallery wall.
Also, if you are looking for digital prints — you don’t pay for shipping because you actually print the print straight from your printer — then these are AMAZING. I can’t decide whether I like the ladies or the gents more, so I would probably get both. What do y’all think?

If you haven’t yet got your hands on the Hamilton soundtrack or the book that inspired Lin Manuel-Miranda to write Hamilton in the first place — Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow — you should strongly consider treating yourself.
